Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), formerly the Irish Energy Centre was set up by the Irish Government in 2002 as Ireland's National Energy Agency. Their mission is to promote and assist the development of sustainable energy in Ireland.

Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland operates a number of programmes that provide financial supports to demonstrate superior energy technologies or provide essential support in specifically identified sectors. The supports will allow Ireland to become a leader in sustainable supply and the use of energy.
